Pool

The New Haven City Pool has been a community attraction since 1974. 

Pool Hours:

Monday through Friday  - 1:00 –5:00
Saturday & Sunday  - 1:00- 6:00
Monday & Thursday Night – Family Night – 6:00-8:30

Admission Prices –

$2.00 per person for anyone 3 & up
$40.00 – Individual Pool Pass
$75.00 – Family Pool Pass

If you exit the pool area, you will be required to pay again to re-enter.

The City will rent the Pool for 2 hours for a Pool Party on any night other than Monday & Thursday.  The cost of the rental is $100.00.  The time is 6:30-8:30.  Two lifeguards will be provided.  You are allowed to bring decorations, food, etc. into the pool area as long as you keep it on the Baby Pool Area side.  If you are interested in renting the pool, contact the City Hall.  If the party gets rained out, you can either reschedule or get a refund. 

The City Pool also offers Swimming Lessons.  Two sessions were offered in 2006..  The first session was June 19 - June 23 from 11:00 – 12:00 each day.  The second session was July 10 – July 14 from 11:00 – 12:00 each day.  The cost of the class is $25.00 per child.  The only requirement is that the child has to be able to stand in the 3 foot was unassisted.  Stop by the City Hall to sign your child up.

Pool Info

The pool goes from 3ft to 9ft..  A diving board is located in the 9 foot water area.  A baby pool is also available for the little ones, which is enclosed by a chain link fence, so that the children don't have easy access to the bigger pool.

Pool Rental

The City Pool can be rented for private parties for 2 hours at the rate of $100.00.  Two lifeguards are provided.  Parties can be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  The time for the rental is 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

We offer 2 separate sessions for swimming lessons.  One session is in June and one session in July.  The classes run for 5 days for 1 hour each day from 11:00 – 12:00.
