Rolling Fork Iron Horse Festival

The 18th Annual Iron Horse Festival will be held on Sept. 12 & 13, 2008.

The Seventeenth Annual Iron Horse Festival was held on September 7th & 8th.  The event was

co-sponsored by the City of New Haven.  Friday evening, September 7 was designated as Youth and

Family Night. Friday evening events were coordinated by the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Youth

Group.  All Games, Bouncers, and Events were cost-free except for concessions.  CNH4 took numerous

pictures of the Events that night.  Channel 4 has prepared a Music Video using the pictures.  If anyone

is interested in a DVD copy of the Video for $5, please contact City Hall.  Saturday events included:

5K Run/Fun Walk, Inflatables ($5 Wrist Band), Baby Pageants, Little Miss and Master New Haven,

Little Princess, Princess, and Queen Pageants.  The Pictures of the Pageant winners are posted below.

The parade was held at 2:15 P.M.  Other entertainment included: The Music Man Sound Show, Tribute

to Elvis & Meatloaf, Gospel Music, All Star Cheer Team Exhibition, Dance Pros, Open Karaoke,

Clogging, and Closing Concert by Brown Brothers.
