2007 Easter Egg Hunt
The City of New Haven along with many Sponsors hosted the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the New Haven/Optimist Park on Saturday, April 7 at 12. The weather was frigid, but we still had a huge turnout. The Easter Bunny took pictures with the children from 11-2 for $5.00. The proceeds benefited REelay For Life. There was over 4500 eggs. The children were seperated into 4 age categories. Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks were provided free to the attendees. Numerous door prizes were gave away. The Coloring Contest Winners were announced and they received their prizes. If you didn't make it out this year, we hope that you will put it in your plans for next Easter. We hope to see you there. Take a look at the pictures below and you will see that everyone had a Very Nice Day!!
The City would like to thank the New Haven Corrall Center for stuffing all of the eggs and the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Youth Group for hiding the eggs on hunt day. Both organizations have been a huge help for this event. We would also like to thank the following for Sponsoring the Event.
